EcoReview: Supplements from WikaNiko - Arctic Krill and Acai Berry

Here at EcoLiving we like to look after ourselves. As well as leading a healthy and balanced lifestyle, sometimes its nice to have a little pick-me-up and make sure you're treating you body right! We've been trailing a range of EcoLiving supplements brought to you by Wikaniko. 

This month we've been taking: 

Arctic Krill Oil (500mg)  - a great source of Omega3, powerful antioxidants such as astanxathin and phospholipids sourced only from sustainable fisheries in the Antarctic. Packed full of healthy fats which will help keep the heart healthy and mind in tune. 

Acai Berry Supreme (1065mg) - a concentrated source of Acai berry combined with added antioxidants grape seed extract and pomegranate. This supplement is great for supporting a healthy, energetic lifestyle. It helps support the immune system and has been linked with healthy slimming and stabilising blood sugar and cholesterol levels.

Our Thoughts:

Arctic Krill Oil  - This supplement is great! Take it once daily with a meal and there is no gross fishy aftertaste (which I've found with other branded fish-oil based supplements).  Great value for money, easy to dispense. Although this product is not suitable for vegans, it is wheat, gluten and dairy free.

Acai Berry Supreme - This supplement is a good source of vitamins and antioxidants. You get an excellent quantity of tablets for the price. I'm already feeling invigorated for taking it! There is no added sugar or preservatives and this supplement is wheat, gluten, dairy and lactose free.  Suitable for vegetarians and vegans!

Our Thoughts:

This deodorant has a definite citrusy scent and cooling effect on the skin. I've had no problems with greasy or white marks on my clothes and have felt fresh all day long.

EcoReview: Clean Greener with Bio D

Washing up no longer need be a chore. Know you're doing your bit for the environment with our guide to cleaning greener everyday with the best of bio D.

Our Thoughts:

This washing up liquid from bio-D is such great value for money. The bottle us huge (750ml compared to a supermarket equivalent of approx 380ml) - it really does last for ages!

This product creates a good amount of soap suds and have a pleasant chemical-free aroma. 

Very friendly to the skin so theres no need for the often loathsome rubber gloves. 

A must have for any eco-friendly kitchen.
